Description: Centering a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 19.55 carats, flanked by two baguette diamonds,size 5½. 

Condition Report: In very good condition with light surface wear to the mounting. Mounted in platinum. The sapphire is a vibrant, richly saturated medium-deep blue. Highly crystalline with a small reflective inclusion found under the table, visible only on close inspection and with direct light. A faint fingerprint may also be seen to the periphery along one of the shorter sides. Minute abrasions and cavities along the girdle. Presenting a lovely outline and excellent luster. The diamond baguettes weighing approximately 0.90 carat are approximately E-G color, VS clarity. Fitted with a sizing band to stabilize on the finger. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS80701 dated June 25, 2010 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Together with a letter stating that Burmese sapphires “possessing such an extraordinary combination of attributes…are exceedingly rare.” Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 1007097 dated July 20, 2010 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
